When I started working with Jamie I was very concerned about my food dependence. I was eating my emotions and unable to control my portions. I was at the tail end of a stressful family situation and needed to refocus for my health. Jamie's sessions were so wonderful for me. Jamie is personal, compassionate and caring. She is professional with open ended questions that cause you to think about yourself and to think about the “why" Her gentle demeanor allows a comfortable environment while you look within to find the reasons and with that, the solutions. It is very evident that Jamie puts a lot of thought into each session and truly wanted me to discover that I was in control all along.
With Jamie's coaching, I was able to create new habits and be more aware of myself. I was able to set achievable goals for myself and hold myself accountable. This wasn't easy to do but knowing I had Jamie to help me with any and all obstacles, gave me the extra push. I am continuing to practice the habits of meal prepping, watching my portions and focusing on my health. I find myself subconsciously hitting my goals and it feels so great to know that I am the one doing it. I find my voice inside my head redirecting me to the vegetables and healthier choices. I was struggling with my eating habits, anxiety and my stress levels were extremely high. Working with Jamie helped me set goals and gave me the tools to stick with them. She recommended writing down my goals and placing them where I can see them throughout my day. This was very helpful for me! Jamie also recommended I start journaling my thoughts when I felt I was spiraling into my stress and anxiety.
Jamie was an amazing coach who made me feel comfortable talking to her about my issues, which usually makes me feel very vulnerable. She was kind when I told her I failed on a goal, but also made me think about what I could change in order not to fail and be so hard on myself. Jamie always had me thinking instead of just giving me ideas, which is very brilliant since this is my life and I have to know how to work through the hard stuff with my health. Jamie has me so driven to better myself! My goals are still set and I add some when I feel I have mastered a previous one.
To utilize the tools I have in order to keep goals and deal with my mental health. I know that may sound silly because how would someone not know to use them. Well I’ve always known about all these tools but never sat down and used them. Jamie helped me see that for me personally I needed the visual goals and the outlet to express my frustration so I didn’t just keep it all bottled up inside my head.

Before I began coaching sessions with you, I didn't have clear goals or a plan for managing my stress and anxiety. I often felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to support myself. I knew I needed guidance in creating practical self-help strategies-ones that I could realistically implement and maintain. I'm happy to say we accomplished that!
